Subject: Embedded view from another database
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Designer Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows Vista client
Release: 8.0.2
Reproducible: Always

Hi -- I've been trying to create an embedded view from another database and have had marginal success. I did get one to work but usually the database is NOT in the database dropdown even though it's on my desktop. Lots of databases that no longer exist are in the dropdown list and some databases that do exist BUT many databases that are on the desktop just don't get pulled into the list. I've actually set this up on another client with just a few databases on the desktop and the one I'm interested in does not get pulled into the list.

Is there a way to get the list refreshed?

Also: I've tried to get the view by @Formula but I'm either doing something stupid or it doesn't work:

@Command( [FileOpenDatabase]; "xxxx/yyyy" : "test/zzzz200.nsf"; "embeddedContacts"; ""; ""; "1");

I'd love to buy a clue here

thanks in advance
